The book was intended as a general primer into Italian culture. Although backed by research, many of the book’s entries are also poetic musings of things that define Italians (Amore, Italian Hand Gestures, Tomatoes, etc.). We also included both Italians and Italian-Americans in our lists.

There are certainly more than 101 reasons to be proud you’re Italian and they are generally arranged in no specific order. The most important part of the project was that it was meant to be enjoyable to read by both Italians and Italo-philes and that it would make a great gift.

We feel we have succeeded on all fronts as the book, first published in 2000 continues to be in print and has been a gift enjoyed by tens of thousands. With the popularity of eBooks on the rise, we did make a downloadable version for sale available via Amazon. But for those passionate Italians (like you) who would love to learn more we have offered the ebook for free. We will put you on our exclusive email list for other offers and things that may be of interest, but we respect your privacy so we won’t sell or give it away to anyone else.

We hope you enjoy your Italian Pride eBook. If you like it, please consider buying the hardcopy or inviting a friend to download!
